Dear Geraint
dg2813@hotmail.co.uk
16th September 2014
For no reason in particular I was thinking
about "Four Leaf" Clover yesterday and
decided to search for his name on the web.
I am sure you and many other Old
Stationers out there would remember him
as a benign Master of Music at the school.
He was in fact my first form master way
back in 1957 and found him engaging and
his personality infectious. I had no idea he
had a doctorate, nor the extensive nature of
his subsequent career after leaving
Stationers. I am sending the item I found
and thought you might like to include this
in a future edition of the magazine. You
may not, of course, but here it is anyway.
Such a pity his life was curtailed so soon at
the age of 49.
Best wishes
Dave Gordon 1957-64
