Automatik expands rotor regrinding service in
Malaysia.

Machinery has further strengthened its global presence while
decentralizing service delivery with the addition of a new
state-of-the-art grinding machine in its Malaysia service
centre. The company’s aim is to be able to serve its
customer base in Southeast Asia faster and better, with a
more complete range of rotor resharpening services.
Along with the existing regrinding service units in Brazil, China, Germany, Taiwan and
the USA, Automatik continues to operate the industry’s most extensive regrinding
network. Replacement parts for pelletizing systems can likewise be rapidly and reliably
delivered from these regional service centres spanning the globe. “We are the

presence.” The grinding centre was established in Malaysia in 2009. Since then the
machine capacity has been expanded frequently to follow the market demand for high
quality rotor grinding.
Tooth profiles for optimum cutting and maximum availability
When regrinding rotors, Automatik expertly tailors the tooth profile so that the geometry
of the cutting edge is perfectly adapted to the application at hand. This ensures that
cutting performance is optimized relative to the material – whether soft, hard or
reinforced – so that perfect, top-quality pellets are uniformly produced with a minimum of
dust generation and the maximum machine uptime. In addition to these customized
tooth profiles, Automatik offers rotors in a wide range of sizes and blade construction
materials, including tool steel, stellite, powder steel, carbide and ceramic. This
combination of optimized tooth profile and high-performance, highly wear-resistant
