TWO ROADS |
On that day, when we shall see the
clouds be rolled back as a scroll and
the trumpet shall sound, the roll will
be called but will I be there? (216) Then
after the Lord’s descending, I will meet
him face to face and behold his glory,
O! What will it be? (206) And yet I will
behold his face when he cometh to
take up his precious jewels. (218).
After beholding all that glory, Jesus
the priest will open the book and the
judgement will have set. (416) All who
will be faithful
will in chorus
sing, Worthy is
the Lamb! (246)
In all that mine
eyes all glory
will behold.
(647) O what
joy shall it be,
for we will all
gather home
knowing all
work is done.
(430) And with
all the saints
we shall gather
at the beautiful
river.(432) In
that land, lies
the city four
square and
I’m glad I could not travel
And be one traveler, long I
stood,
And looked down the
To where it bent, trodden
Yet having the best and
Hadn’t worn it as much as
Oh, I kept it for another
New heights gained every
I shall be telling this with
Somewhere ages and ages
Two roads diverged
And by His grace I took
the narrow,
RUTH LELEI Maps the way home through the hymnal
there is no night there for the lamb is
all the light. (427)
No longer will there be a dark valley
and we will gather home when he
comes.(208) There will be singing such
as we have never known and we all
expect to join in that blessed chorus,
Holy! Holy! Holy! (425) When we all
gather there, it will be all joy, we’ll
never part again.(449)
We all say how wonderful it will be to
walk in the streets of gold but really,
what must it be to be there? (434)
We must lift up the trumpet, echo it
on hilltops, proclaim it on plains that
Jesus is coming again.(213) All this
must be done soon because tis almost
time for the Lord to come.(212) and
ofcos it is not far from home, O what
a blessed thought. (439) So until Jesus
comes may your anchor hold in the
storms of life, because we have a firm
anchor.(534) We need to take the name
of Jesus everywhere.(474) and him
to guide us through this earth.(538)
All of us need to be faithful because
very soon Jesus will come from whom
redeemed us (602) because we have a
blessed assurance. (462)
You know what, I may not know why
Jesus died or how the spirit moves but
I know know whom I have believeth
and I’m persuaded that he will keep his
promise.(511) because we have this
hope that burns within our hearts.(214)
All that we need is to ask God to fill
our Cups because His well shall never
run dry. (493) God tells us to hold fast
till he comes because he has sweet
promises given.(600) Invite God’s spirit
to live in you as you live in life.(270)
and ensure you are part of those who
would say, He leadeth me.(537)
The Bible shall be our light through this
life to correct, rebuke, encourage and
show the way.(272) As we close each
day, we face challenges. We may forget
God’s promises, lose our faith, sin alot
but everyday the Lord himself is near
us and gives us strength to meet our
trials here.(532).
Even as we go through the challenges
and trials, we will always have the
one and only friend who can thrill our
souls and cheer our hearts. (189) We
will always be cheered by the fact that
Jesus is coming and it wo’nt be long
because God’s word does not leave and
come back empty. Cheer up for in a
little while we are going home.(626)
But until then, my heart will go on
singing,(632). I’ll fight the good fight
with all might for Christ is my strength
and Christ my light. (613)
Let every man that understands what a marriage union is, guard it with
all mind, for it means more than just having a spouse: it is heavenly.
Relationships gearing towards this wonderful union are to in every wise
revere this cause since marriage is a figure of redemption..
Humans have scarcely begun to live by the time they begin
to die; and marriage is passed through with little or no sweet
experience. As years roll on, the probabilities of marriage
breakages are on high. If only we had understood the
solemnity of marriage! Why marriage? Is it really important?
Why could God plant it in the first place?
Genesis 2:18 says, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that
the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”
And thus marriage was borne.
There’s something interesting making infinite harmonics all
over the scripture of the illustrious relationship between
Marriage and Christ with His church. Revelation 19:7 says,
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the
marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself
ready.” Read also 8,9. Awesomely the Bible begins with
marriage and ends with marriage, and at Eden and onwards,
it is a type, pointing to the great marriage supper of the Lamb
with the redeemed.
In heaven there are no marriages (Matthew 22:30: “For in the
resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but
are as the angels of God in heaven.”) Why is this so? We will
have married Christ as a church forever. The type will have met
the antitype. Therefore divorce was never in the heart of God,
it’s an alien cause in His Kingdom.
Some asked Christ ...”but Moses allowed us to divorce our
wives!”
Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the
hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your
wives: but from the beginning it was not so. When the plan
of Redemption was being out, at the foundation of the
world,(Rev13:8, Roms 16:25, 1Cor 2:7, Eph 3:9,5:32, Col
21:26, Matt 25:34), God foreseeing the fall of man, planned to
redeem all unto Himself. No one was to be lost, except they
choose to. For this reason Paul was revealed this, ..... Ephesians
5:32 “This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ
and the church.”
The rejectors of His grace will have chosen to march out of
the Great Marriage in that Evening on high. They will be selfimposed
divorcés. Divorce, should therefore be completely
unheard of. Though allowed, from the beginning it was not so.
“The cost of the redemption of the race can never be fully
realized until the redeemed shall stand with the Redeemer, by
the throne of God.” ~Confrontation 55.3
