CHOICE!
A
man lives
near a
railway line
with his son. The
transport authority in
his town had stationed
him there purposely to
be on guard of the rails.
On a certain night, a violent
storm hit the town damaging
the electric power lines,
uprooting trees and sweeping
everything off the ground.
Unfortunately a section of the
railway was disintegrated and hence it
was impossible to cross the town using
the railway line.
Unexpectedly, a full passenger train was
approaching the town, unaware of the dire
state of the station. The people inside the train
engaged in all manner of orgies, ignorant of the
lurking danger.
The man quickly ordered his son to a light tower to
flash signals to indicate the peril. As the son climbed
the staircase of the tower, he skidded. His father was
now in frenzy and confusion. Would he save the traveling
passengers or his son? Would he sacrifice his son for
people lost in pleasure seeking?
Having little option he resolved to rescue the passengers
instead of his only son. It was such a painful and disheartening
decision but what other alternative could he take? He allowed his
son to perish and allowed the lost to live and witness the love he
had for them.
