author targets young

personal ministry.
The author vividly
describes the parables
of Christ in a unique
way that relates to the
temporal life we live
today. The book is one
to be kept at hand
as it makes one view
Christ from a higher
perspective, providing
thorough spiritual
nourishment.
The longest chapter
in the book, Talents,
takes it beyond a mere
inspirational book for
learners, as it focuses
on time management,
the value of influence
and money usage.
The book is verily a
must read for every
child of God called
from darkness into his
Marvelous light.

to accept or even to understand...

The redeemer of the world
sought to make His lessons so
simple that all could understand.
Jesus preferred the fields to the walls
of Jerusalem, the groves and lakesides to
the majestic temple and synagogues, raised
grounds to the pulpits and altars and His
naturally equivocal voice to a public address
system or amplifier. He had special reasons
for choosing these natural sanctuaries in
which to give instructions to hungry and
thirsty souls.
The landscape lay before Him; rich in
scenes and objects very familiar to both the
lofty and the humble. From these He drew
illustrations that simplified His teachings
and impressed them firmly upon the minds
of the hearers.
These ever so much remind me of my first
experience as a missionary. I served in the
Public Address team at the FoC mission to
Keringet. It was my first time, and hopefully,
not my last. I certainly knew very little as far
as PAs go. However, God still used me in my
weakness and ignorance.
That great voice that spoke to Balaam
through an ass, that voice that summoned
Saul to serve as Paul... that voice, could not
be
confined
or
contained in
any FoC P.A.
One day, as soon as the Servant of God
started speaking; the public address went
quiet. “Come unto me,” His message
repeating, “And I shall give you rest…” But
no one could hear.
And a voice came unto me from the High
Seat saying ...The Lord hath spoken, who
can but prophesy? Amos 3:8
“So what will we do Fred..? What is wrong?”
The helpless Preacher asked looking
towards me. “I don’t know. I think it is the
amplifier. It’s overheating.” I said trying
to connect the little Physics I had learnt
in school. But I knew nothing about the
devices. I take agriculture in school. But
turning to My Master, nothing is unclear to
Him. Nothing is covered from his view.
The Word once gain had the answer, “I
AM!” Exodus 3:14. P.A. systems cannot
accommodate me; for the earth is my
footstool and at my voice all of Sheol would
release her captives.
The Voice that the PA would not hold, is
willing to use you. He is willing to be held
in you. He is knocking at your door, please
let Jesus in. Open the door and let the
PA in you keep quiet. Let the speakers of
foul lips, the cables of emotions, the mixer
of apostate thoughts and an overheated
amplifier of a tired, jaded heart listen to the
Master speak for, he cannot be confined to
a P.A.!
