There are 33 statues, 16 of which<br />

were purchased by John Ringling<br />

in the 1920s supporting his desire to bring art and culture to the city of <strong>Sarasota</strong>. A self-guided walking tour brochure is<br />

The St. Armands Circle Association<br />

and merchants host several special<br />

events throughout the year including<br />

art and craft festivals, sidewalk sales,<br />

exotic car shows, and special holiday<br />

Parking on and around St. Armands<br />

Circle is free and convenient. There<br />

are two parking lots a short walk from<br />

The Circle and accessible from Adams<br />

Drive as you come onto The Circle<br />

from the Ringling Bridge. St. Armands<br />

also offers valet parking from 4:30 to<br />

11 p.m. between Cafe L’Europe and<br />

Cha Cha Coconuts. Additional parking<br />

is available on John Ringling Blvd. and<br />

in front of shops and restaurants (threehour<br />

limit on the Circle Monday through<br />

Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.). On<br />

weekends and after business hours,<br />

Wells Fargo bank off North Washington<br />

Drive also provides free parking.
