Dear Brethren,
Have you taken time to be with the Lord?
Whenever I think upon this question, I am reminded of the words
of David in Psalm 116:1-2 where he declares that he will call upon
the Lord as long as he lives for the Lord has heard his voice and
supplications. Can each one of us say the same?
FoC is about Christ. It’s about going the mile for Him and with
Him, letting Hin live in us.
We should review the course of our past life and recall with gratitude
the precious deliverances God has wrought for us. God has
given support in trial. He has opened of ways when all seemed
dark and forbidding and renewed our strength when we were
about to give up. He has encircled us with heavenly angels to
guide each step we make and each breath we take. In view the
innumerable blessings He continually gives, we should ask ourselves,
“What shall we render unto Him for all He has done?”
Psalm 116:12
It would be well to spend a thoughtful hour each day in contemplation
of the life of Christ. We should take it point by point and let
the imagination capture every scene, especially the closing ones.
On behalf of FoC, we appreciate your taking time to support the
ministry and it’s upcoming missions by buying this magazine. Being
a growing ministry with a huge work to do that requires a lot
of resources, we cannot take for granted your support in giving
and in prayer.
But greater still is our pleasure to spend some time at the Lord’s
feet with you today!
