The exterior lighting is faulty.<br />

X Visit a qualified specialist workshop.<br />

The light sensor is faulty.<br />

X Visit a qualified specialist workshop.<br />

The lights are still switched on when you leave the vehicle. A<br />

warning tone also sounds.<br />

X Turn the light switch to c.<br />

Adaptive Highbeam Assist is faulty.<br />

X Visit a qualified specialist workshop.<br />

Adaptive Highbeam Assist is deactivated and temporarily<br />

inoperative, if:<br />

Rthe windshield is dirty in the camera's field of vision.<br />

Rvisibility is impaired due to heavy rain, snow or fog.<br />

X Clean the windshield.<br />

Adaptive Highbeam Assist is available again, if:<br />

Rthe dirt (e.g. slush) drops away while the vehicle is in motion.<br />

Rthe system detects that the camera is fully operational again.<br />

The Adaptive Highbeam Assist Now Available message is<br />

The coolant level is too low.<br />

X Add coolant, observing the warning notes when doing so<br />

(Y page 311).<br />

X If coolant needs adding more often than usual, have the engine<br />

coolant system checked at a qualified specialist workshop.<br />

G Warning<br />

Do not spill antifreeze on hot engine parts. Antifreeze contains ethylene glycol which may burn<br />

if it comes into contact with hot engine parts. You could be seriously burned.
