Our strength lies in the belief that team work is essential.<br />
Developments in the structure of DMD have facilitated the<br />
growth of the business in the face of an ever changing retail<br />
environment and future consumer trends. Knowledge of both UK<br />
and overseas markets comes in part from competitor analysis;<br />
understanding and working with our customers; regular visits<br />
to trade fairs, consumer exhibitions; and ultimately – simply our<br />
instinct.<br />
Our reputation for the design and manufacture of innovative<br />
salt and pepper mills is exceptionally strong – arising from<br />
the expertise applied by our leading design and manufacture<br />
teams. Many of our designs are iconic classics. We have built<br />
strong relationships with the retail trade and also design a<br />
large number of bespoke ranges for high profile brands.<br />
You will recognise and see our name on many of our salt and<br />
pepper mills from every day use both at home and in<br />
restaurants and hotels. What you may not know is that there<br />
are also very many fine quality bespoke salt and pepper mills<br />
created by our experienced design team and taken to market<br />

of mills. Our expertise in technical innovation, quality and design<br />
combine to bring you classic and contemporary salt and pepper<br />
mills.<br />
Screw Knob<br />
Turn the screw knob clockwise to tighten the mechanism and<br />
produce a fine grind, and anti-clockwise to produce a coarse<br />
grind. To re-fill the pepper or salt mill fully unscrew the knob and<br />
take off the top. Easy refill.<br />

The design, manufacture and production of our mills is tightly<br />
controlled to ensure quality throughout the process.<br />

Mechanism<br />
All our mills incorporate a copyrighted ‘Spring Tension’ system.<br />
This helps in the adjustment of the grinder via the ‘Screw Knob’ for<br />
either pepper or salt depending on what is being used in your mill.<br />
