<strong>May</strong> <strong>Larkin</strong>
3rd January 1938 – 20th October 2014
A highly skilled engineer, he worked most of his working life at Gaston<br />
Marbaix in Basingstoke. Making machine tools for the automotive and<br />
aero industries.
A time and a place for everything, and everything in its place.<br />
His meticulous attention to details was obvious in every part of his life.
My Pop was a very practical man, there was nothing mechanical or<br />
otherwise he couldn’t turn his hand to.
1956. National Service. Pop was always smartly dressed, so adapting<br />
to this part of army life came easy to him. While he was in the army he<br />
joined the Royal Artillery motorcycle display team and was a driving<br />
instructor. He also represented his regiment riding motorcycle trials.
