(a) After each event, the instructor shall critique<br />

the student’s performance using cause/effect analysis,<br />

particularly with respect to the Course Training Standards.<br />

(b) The mission’s complexity and student’s progress<br />

will govern the time required for the debrief.<br />

b. Emergency Procedures Briefing and Training<br />

(1) EP training builds the student’s confidence in the<br />

aircraft. The IP shall conduct emergency procedures training on<br />

all dual aircraft events, either on the ground or in the<br />

aircraft. Correct procedural deficiencies through additional<br />

instruction and study assignments.<br />

(2) Incorporate emergency procedures training into<br />

simulator events when practical; however, instructional block<br />

objectives take precedence.<br />

(3) Grade the student’s overall EP knowledge and<br />

performance under Emergency Procedures.<br />

10. Mission Grading Procedures and Evaluation Policies<br />

a. General Grading and Evaluation Policy. Maneuver Item<br />

Files listed in the <strong>MPTS</strong> are minimum stage/phase completion<br />

standards per maneuver.
