(2) A second or subsequent RRU or failed IPC will result<br />

in an FPC. Document the failed IPC on a pink ATF generating the<br />

Progress Check.<br />

(3) Failing an FPC will result in a TRB.<br />

c. Academic. Failing any two exams triggers an IPC or FPC<br />

as appropriate. All subsequent exam failures will trigger an<br />

FPC. The IPC or FPC shall be completed prior to retake.<br />

d. Remediation<br />

(1) A ground evaluation emphasizing the deficient areas<br />

may clear an unsatisfactory check ride or end of block syllabus<br />

event caused solely by ground operations.<br />

(2) End of block unsatisfactory syllabus events in the<br />

Instrument stage may be cleared in the simulator if these<br />

conditions are met:<br />

(a) The cause of the unsatisfactory is specific to<br />

the maneuver.<br />

(b) The simulator is suited to the failed maneuver.<br />

e. Restrictions. Until remediation of the unsatisfactory:<br />

(1) The student shall not fly solo.<br />

(2) The student shall not accomplish any training except<br />

academic classes, examinations, and ground training events,<br />

provided the unsatisfactory event was not a prerequisite.<br />

4. Training Review Board. Refer to CNATRAINST 1500.4G.<br />

5. Instructor Continuity. Students shall fly Contact stage<br />

events C4001-C4203 with their on-wing. Exceptions:<br />

(a) Students shall fly at least one, but not more than two,<br />

of the C4102-C4203 events as an off-wing flight.<br />

(b) Any Contact ‘B’ Stan IP may substitute as on-wing in the<br />

event the student’s on-wing is not available and an on-wing<br />

change is not prudent.
