ABOUT <strong>NIESBUD</strong><br />
<strong>NIESBUD</strong> is an Apex institute in the area of Entrepreneurship and Small Business<br />
Development under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of<br />
India. The basic objective for which the institute has been established are, Promotion and<br />
Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises including Enhancement of their<br />
competitiveness through various activities. The institute has conducted a total of 5023<br />
training programmes covering 1,33,863 participants which includes 151 international<br />
training programmes with 2,285 participants from more than 125 pountries till 31st October<br />
2012.<br />
The policy, direction and guidance to the institute is provided by its Governing Council<br />
whose Chairman is the Minister of MSME. The Executive Committee consisting of Secretary<br />
(Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) as its Chairman and Director General of the Institute as<br />
its Member-Secretary, executes the policies and decisions of the Governing Council through<br />
its whole-time Director General, Shri A. K. Jha.<br />

ABOUT ASEED-IDMAT<br />
Asian Society for Entrepreneurship Education & Development (ASEED) is an Institute that<br />
has evolved its own identity as an autonomous non profit body registered under 1860<br />
Societies Act, working in the field of development management. Aseed started its mission in<br />
early 90's and since then it has been contributing in the area of livelihood creation and<br />
sustainable development. A multi - dimensional novel institution dedicated to making<br />
Sustainable Development to a reality in the Asia Pacific region.<br />
Aseed's strength lies in working with and for the people which can be seen by its strong<br />
foundation at the grassroot level. Aseed has been recognized as one of the best implementing<br />
partners in several bilateral projects funded by the World Bank, UN agencies GOI and<br />
successfully worked for several ministries, NGOs and international development agencies.<br />
Presently, Aseed has two main divisions named as Aseed-Grameen&Aseed-Idmat, headed<br />
by Dr. Nagendra P. Singh, the President ASEED.
