exciting year. Without the voluntary<br />
heartfelt of our devoting employees this<br />
would not happen.<br />

APLHDM<br />
It's an Non- governmental organisation (NGO)<br />
which exists since 2006 and was registered as an<br />
association in 2010. The association runs a<br />
specialized education school and a specialized<br />
shelter for abandoned children founded in 2013.<br />
Purpose:<br />
A special need school (SEN) for children between<br />
the age of 5 to 25 with intellectual impairments,<br />
Cerebral Palsy and related conditions. As, they<br />
cannot benefit from the mainstream education, the<br />
SEN curriculum is modified to suit the needs of the<br />
children.<br />
Pre-vocational training is also provided for<br />
selected students aged 12 and above to prepare<br />
them for future sheltered or open employment.

To give this year a kickstart, the Tropic Knits <strong>CSR</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> has<br />
arranged and provided 3 medical beds, hearing aids and an oven<br />
for the kids in APLHDM shelter.<br />
On the same track we are preparing our annual bake sale to<br />
collect funds for the upcoming event on the 12th November.
