Alpiq Home charge device (HCD) – maximum safety
While electrical sockets are available everywhere, most of them
are unsuitable for charging electric vehicles. The HCD adapts to the
output limit of the available infrastructure, and can be conveniently
mounted to the garage wall.
Alpiq E-Totem – public charging
The charging station for electric vehicles in public locations with
high volumes of traffic, i.e. on streets and squares, at airports and
railway stations.
Alpiq PublicFastCharger (PFC) – for a quick pit stop
This fast-charging station extends the range of the vehicle by five
kilometres per minute of charging time, and can be found at motorway
service stations, petrol stations and in public locations.
Alpiq MobileFastCharger (MFC) – fast and safe charging
This charging station is the flexible, cost-effective solution for
professional use – for garages, but also for companies with a large
vehicle fleet.

Alpiq Home Charge Device (HCD)
Sleep & Charge
The home charge device offers maximum safety when charging
any compatible electric vehicle (EV / PHEV), with hardware
and software being personalised with regard to vehicle
brand, model and socket (Type 1 / 2 / 3 or CEEplus sockets) as
well as to the national power grid.
The home charge device (HCD) provides you with the certainty that
your electric vehicle is being charged properly and efficiently. It
adapts to the output limit of the available infrastructure. Personal-
ised to match the respective vehicle, the device also remains with the
vehicle in the event of it being sold, which is why many major automo-
tive manufacturers adapt their electric vehicles to suit our HCDs.
Safety features
The following safety features are integrated in the HCD:

• Power off on fault identification or interruption of connection

The E-Totem was developed as part of the large-scale
VEL1 study by the Swiss federal government (1994 – 2001)

four different versions, the E-Totem for public locations
o
ffers
a flexible
and
diverse
range
of
possible
applications.
The E-Totem is available as an outdoor installation in the versions
Mode 1 and Mode 3 standard, Mode 1 and Mode 3 3-phase, as well as
a version with RFID access. The E-Totem is weatherproof and encased
in a thermoplastic shell, with a galvanised steel frame housing all
electrical connections. As a charging station for public locations,
the E-Totem can also be configured as a metered Park & Charge
i nstallation.

Alpiq PublicFastCharger (PFC)
Coffee & Charge
The PublicFastCharger (PFC) is the professional fast-charging
station for motorway service stations. It charges six times
faster than conventional AC charging stations, and takes just
one minute of charging time per five kilometres of range. The
PFC is therefore also ideal for hotels, shopping centres and
all other locations wishing to provide charging facilities for
electric vehicles.
The charging station does not require any special electrical specifications
– a 32 A 3-phase connection is enough. With its weatherproof
materials, the station is designed for outdoor use.
This PFC station is simple, easy and inexpensive to install at any location,
as well as being reasonable to maintain.
In addition to these features, the PFC is also easy to use, with a
user-friendly display providing information throughout the charging
process and indicating the current charge status at all times.

Move & Charge
The MobileFastCharger (MFC) is the introduction to the professional
world of safe, correct and fast charging of electric
vehicles of all kinds – an innovative and efficient fast-charging
solution. Uncomplicated, easy and inexpensive – ideal for
workshops and fleets.
Thanks to its mobility and flexibility, this fast charger requires no
fixed facilities, and its universal adapter makes it compatible with all
common electrical connections, including industrial sockets.
The MFC makes the charging process six times faster than with conventional
AC charging stations.
