you’ll start <strong>to</strong> explore yourself <strong>and</strong> the world around you. After starting with Opening the <strong>Energy</strong><br />
Gates, where you’ll learn how <strong>to</strong> skillfully orchestrate the interplay between your body’s own energy<br />
<strong>and</strong> the bounty of nature, the vast “energy fields” of heaven <strong>and</strong> earth you can use <strong>to</strong> calm <strong>and</strong> ground<br />
your energies <strong>and</strong> create balance inside, you’ll move on <strong>to</strong> a sensual, playful, energy dance called<br />
Love Thyself, a self-massage in which you visit every single inch of your beautiful body. You’ll move<br />
more slowly <strong>and</strong> have the opportunity <strong>to</strong> truly underst<strong>and</strong> what it means <strong>to</strong> “discover the chi” (qigong<br />

Moving in<strong>to</strong> late morning, you’ll continue along the path with the driving yang pulse of the kundaliniinspired<br />
<strong>Unleash</strong> <strong>and</strong> Transform, where you will meet your inner commitment <strong>and</strong> fire. As you s<strong>to</strong>ke<br />
it, pushing past the limits of the mind, you’ll strengthen the lungs <strong>and</strong> the diaphragm, <strong>to</strong>ning your entire<br />
body, <strong>and</strong> making your spine more flexible, simultaneously stimulating <strong>and</strong> balancing your chakra <strong>and</strong><br />
endocrine systems.<br />
PRACTICE THREE: <strong>Your</strong> Own Fountain of Youth: The Tibetan Rites<br />
Then, rising <strong>to</strong> high noon with <strong>Your</strong> Own Fountain of Youth, the Tibetan Rites, you will spin with the<br />
earth herself, learning <strong>to</strong> tune your chakra system in another percussive, fiery, yang modality as it<br />
balances <strong>and</strong> harmonizes the chakra <strong>and</strong> vestibular system, increasing your overall dynamic strength,<br />
flexibility, <strong>and</strong> spatial power.<br />
PRACTICE FOUR: Empower <strong>and</strong> Flow: Pilates<br />
In the early afternoon, you’ll progress <strong>to</strong> Empower <strong>and</strong> Flow, the Pilates practice, with its graceful,<br />
flowing yang pulse. It will help you <strong>to</strong> defy gravity <strong>and</strong> strengthen your “powerhouse”—the muscles<br />
of your trunk—with special emphasis on your abdominals <strong>and</strong> back, dramatically enhancing your<br />
overall muscular strength <strong>and</strong> stamina, flexibility, coordination <strong>and</strong> balance, <strong>and</strong> ease of movement as<br />
it activates your lymphatic system. You’ll find your true core power as you “meet yourself on the<br />
mat.”
