1. Sitting tall on your chair, inhale and rub your hands together vigorously. With the energy you
generate, place your palms slightly above your liver (just under the bottom of your right rib
cage). The tips of your fingers are interlacing, and your thumbs are just along for the ride,
pointing up. Once your hands are in position, inhale deeply and envision the most beautiful
evergreen forest you’ve ever seen, replete with tall, full pine trees. Breathe in the deep, rich,
refreshing scent of pine and fertile topsoil, and see the sun shining on the trees, creating a
powerful, primordial bright green life force, with a light that soothes your eyes. Remember that
picturing the person, people, or situation that inspired the anger) and consciously breathe into the
feeling. Allow yourself to continue swaying from side to side as you start to “delete” the anger
you’ve uncovered.
4. Complete twenty-one sets of simultaneously rocking left to right, breathing, and scanning, just
allowing those moments that created the feelings of anger inside you to come up in your bodymind
and then be released. Breathe into these images, surrounding them with your powerful
breath, and each time you feel yourself getting swept away in a current of anger, return to the
moment and consciously immerse yourself in the healing light of the deep, forest-green energy
and in the energy of the empowered intention to release anger that you are bringing to the
