The region from Cumbuco to Jericoacoara
is world renowned for excellent
wind and water conditions. Some of
the lagoons are world-renowned and
tens of thousands kitesurfers are attracted
every year to these spots. After
a few trips in this region, we decided
to find the best wavespots! For this we
have the wave experts, Willow-River
Tonkin from Mauritius and the Brazilian
Romário Maicon da Silva, aka Bida,
from Icaraizinho for this tour.
And in front, yes there are surprises,
spots that shine with good waves and
not yet on the map of kitesurfers. One
wavespot has made it particularly attractive
to Willow-River. "Wow, these
are by far the best waves which I have
seen, so far, in Brazil! Amazing. Up
to six turns on waves, which were almost
glassy: Embuaca!" The strapless
freestyle enthusiast, who is otherwise
spoiled by waves in Mauritius, is out
on the hunt through various places in
Brazil.
