Mikaili Sol: "I’m only 12 and I’m ready for the World Tour!"
Mikaili, it seems you have a
very busy life: school, sports,
beaches, animals, adventures.
do you like to share all of
that with your friends?
I love to share all of these things with my
friends especially the ones that live in Europe
because my life seems to be so different
from theirs. I love to invite my friends
to my house in Brazil not only so I can train
with them but also so I can share my lifestyle.
I also like to share with my Brazilian
friends.
From what you tell about your
story, it seems your parents
always give you a lot of freedom
but also rules to follow.
How do you balance that?
My parents give me a lot of freedom but they
definitely have rules to go with it! It is not
always easy to find the balance especially
now that I am a Tween (pre-teen), as my
mother calls it. I tend to want to do things
my way but our family rules don't always allow
me to get my way. I am homeschooled
so I have the freedom to kite whenever I
want but I still have to do my school work
everyday! I usually go to bed early so I can
wake up early to do one session of school
in the morning and then another session of
school in the evenings. In Brazil it gets dark
around six P.M. So it is always good to do
school in the evenings! By organizing my
day like that, I have time for kiting, training
and playing.
