Traditional Zulu man clothing is<br />
usually light: an apron in two parts<br />
similar to a loincloth and covering the<br />
private parts. The front piece is called<br />
umutsha, and is usually made of<br />
springbok or other animal hide twisted<br />
into strips covering the genitals. The<br />
rear part is called ibheshu, is made of a<br />
single piece of springbok or cattle skin.<br />
Its length is usually an indicator of the<br />
age and social position: lesamabheshu<br />
is the plural of ibheshu and the longest<br />
are worn by older men.<br />
Married men also wear a headband,<br />
called the umqhele, which is also made<br />
of springbok skin or leather leopard for<br />
men of high social rank, as the leaders.<br />
They also wear bracelets and chains at<br />
the ankles called imishokobezi during<br />
ceremonies and rituals: weddings and<br />
dances.<br />
Most of the Zulus profess Christianity.<br />
Nevertheless, the Zulus retain their<br />
pre-coloniales beliefs of the cult of the<br />
ancestors in the form of a syncretism<br />
with Christianity.<br />
They believe in a Supreme God and<br />
creator in the name of, "Unkulunkulu",<br />
which interacts in the daily lives of<br />
humans, although this belief turns out<br />
to be the result of the efforts of the first<br />
missionaries to adapt the Christian<br />
God in Zulu culture. Culture, the most<br />
ancient belief and most common<br />
among Zulus is trust in the minds of<br />
the political aSur, the Zulus are<br />
divided between supporters of the<br />
African National (ANC) Congress and<br />
(IFP) Inkatha Freedom Party.<br />
SHAKALAND, the reconstitution of a<br />
