My <strong>Soccer</strong> Adventure is designed to capture your child’s fun soccer<br />
memories, and to reinforce all the lessons they’ve learned this season.<br />
The text on each page highlights your child’s experience, while the<br />
illustrations show one of the games played or lessons learned during<br />
their soccer season. Each page has a brief explanation of the game<br />
played and the skills developed through the game.

games, and stories are not complete without<br />

SOCCER ADVENTURE<br />
Players start out learning<br />
about the boundaries of the<br />
field and how to stay focused<br />
on the game.

from left to right and even in the middle,<br />

BODY PARTS<br />
The coach calls out a body part<br />
like head and players put their<br />
heads on the ball. This helps<br />
teach players to control the ball<br />
and keep it close.

SPACE SHIPS & ALIENS<br />
The players are trying to kick<br />
the ball into the cone in order<br />
to knock it over. The coach, as<br />
an alien, tries to stop them. The<br />
ball is a laser beam they shoot<br />
to destroy the planet!
Just think of all the<br />
games we’ve played.<br />
Pirates and Castle<br />
are Caleb’s favorite.
GUARD THE CASTLE<br />
Guard the castle teaches<br />
players about offense, defense<br />
and protecting the goal.
Caleb’s soccer field is the place to play.
We’ve friends galore,<br />
and it’s never a bore<br />
with Zoe and Collier<br />
and Paul and Katherine,<br />
and Lucas.<br />
KNOCKOUT<br />
This is all about learning how<br />
to shoot the ball and cheering<br />
other players on as they learn.

RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT<br />
Following the coach’s directions<br />
helps players develop various<br />
skills, including how to stop and<br />

SKILLS<br />
Changing directions, completing<br />
a pullback, and dribbling<br />
are core skills players develop<br />
during the season.

PIRATES<br />
Pirates steal the ball and return<br />
it to their goal. The team with<br />
the most soccer balls in the goal<br />

soccer’s full of lessons he’s learned.<br />
COACHING<br />
Learning to listen to the coach<br />
and working together are two<br />
of the most important lessons<br />
to learn!

SHARKS AND MINNOWS<br />
Players are minnows and try to<br />
swim the ball from one side of<br />
the sea to the other, moving fast<br />
while escaping the sharks - the<br />
coach and other players. The most<br />
soccer balls in the goal wins!
