PLAYTIME: The Complete<br />
Works of Jacques Tati<br />
The National Museum of Singapore Cinémathèque<br />
presents the most comprehensive retrospective of<br />
French screenwriter, director and actor Jacques Tati in<br />
Southeast Asia to date. The programme will present all<br />
six of his feature-length films as well as five rarely-seen<br />
short films that inspired the prolific filmmaker. Tati’s<br />
style of visual comedy and modernist experimentation<br />
continue to inspire generations of film-makers and<br />
performers as diverse as Steven Spielberg, David<br />
Lynch, Otar Iosseliani and Rowan Atkinson.<br />
