Japanese Tea
The light and mellow taste of Oishi Kabusecha Japanese
Green Tea is now available in No Sugar and Low Sugar.
Lower in Sugar No Added Sugar
Sweet, mellow and aromatic — these are the
qualities of Kabusecha, which means “covered
tea” in Japanese. If you find green tea too bitter
or astringent, you have not tried Kabusecha tea.
Oishi Kabusecha Japanese Green Tea is available
in No Sugar and Low Sugar variants. Carrying the
Healthier Choice logo, it also contains no added
preservatives or artificial colouring.
What differentiates Kabusecha from other
Japanese green tea is how it’s cultivated. The tea
leaves are grown in direct sunlight until one to
two weeks prior to harvesting, then covered with
a screen to block out direct sunlight. The resulting
flavour is milder, with a pleasant aroma. Grown in
Japan’s Mie prefecture, known for its high quality
agricultural produce that’s used in imperial cuisine,
Kabusecha tea flourishes, thanks to the region’s ideal
tea-growing climate of 14°C and 15°C all year round.
To ensure the best leaves are used, only the top three
leaves from Kabusecha plantations are picked to
produce Oishi Kabusecha Japanese Green Tea. Now
you can enjoy this premium and healthier tea in each
bottle of Oishi Kabusecha Japanese Green Tea.
*Compared to 5.5g/100ml sugar in regular green tea
products in the market.
Oishi Kabusecha Japanese Green Tea is available at supermarkets and convenience stores.
