The shock,
the horror,
The world mourns the
victims of the terrorist
attack at ARIANA GRANDE’s
concert in Manchester.
At the end of
pop superstar
Ariana Grande’s soldout
concert at the
Manchester Arena on
May 22, 21,000 fans,
ecstatic after seeing
their idol perform,
began their exodus out
of the venue. As they
passed through
the foyer, a
suicide bomber
triggered an
explosion,
killing 23 people, including an eight-year-old
girl, and injuring 59. One can only imagine the chaos, and
the fear felt by those who were present, and how it must
have been a stark contrast to the pumped-up mood that
filled the venue only moments earlier. The pop star was
not injured, and some five hours after the attack, she
took to Twitter describing herself as "broken". "I am so
so sorry. I don't have words," she said in the tweet.
Ariana has since suspended her European tour —
she was due to perform in London, Belgium, Poland,
Germany, and Switzerland, and the tour will resume in
Paris on June 7. She has also returned to Florida with
her mum, who reportedly helped usher fans to safety
backstage after the attack. Many celebs have also
taken to social media to condemn the bombing. “Every
musician feels sick & responsible tonight — shows should
