Xu’s poem. Not knowing<br />
how to write in ancient<br />
words, she draws a reply.<br />

FRI JUNE 9<br />

Only 13th Prince Wang<br />
Yu is upset. He cannot<br />
tolerate Xie Shu snatching<br />
Mingyi’s husband and<br />
will intervene if she hurts<br />
Mingyi.<br />
The King adores<br />
Princess Yanhua. He wants<br />
to find a suitable man<br />
for her. However, she is<br />
charmed by Wang Zhao.<br />
Despite the severity<br />
of her illness, Mingyi is<br />
determined to matchmake<br />
Wang Xu and Xie Shu.<br />
Mingyi dies, and a<br />
grand funeral is held for<br />
her. At night, Xie Shu<br />
finds Wang Xu in the room<br />
alone. He comes to realise<br />
he had loved Mingyi and<br />
was not merely grateful to<br />
her. He regrets not saying<br />
he loved her, and weeps<br />
bitterly. Xie Shu tries to<br />
comfort him.<br />
Princess Yanhua brings<br />
news that Xie Shu is going<br />
to be married. The husbandto-be<br />
is old and has many<br />
sons.<br />
Xie Shu decides to<br />
run away, with the princes<br />
assisting her. Zhimeng<br />
stops them. He announces<br />
that Xie Shu is going to<br />
marry the King. To avoid<br />
implicating the others, Xie<br />
Shu follows Zhimeng back<br />
to the palace.<br />

Gina is losing her<br />
patience with Peter Tay,<br />
whom she feels is not<br />
focused on work because<br />

The argument over Kwong<br />
San’s perceived dementia<br />
drags on. He agrees to an<br />
online test, just to get Bee<br />
Li off his back. But he fails<br />
the test.<br />

Suzanne for help when he<br />
realises he had indirectly<br />
caused Felicia to lose her<br />
job at Xue Organics.<br />
Arjun is excited about<br />
getting back to work<br />
again before starting his<br />
residency. However, things<br />
are not great on his first day.<br />
THUR JUNE 8<br />

After much thought, Xue Ling<br />
decides to cut off contact<br />
with her family and leave<br />
Singapore with Peter Tay, in<br />
exchange for him dropping<br />
the lawsuit against Adam.<br />
Tanya feels guilty when<br />
she learns there was a tiff<br />
between Diana and Li Yan,<br />
which resulted in Diana<br />
moving out of the house.<br />
Felicia gets her job at<br />
Xue Organics back. Xue Ling<br />
hints there will be major<br />
changes for the company.<br />

Arjun makes a mistake at<br />
work and isn’t keen on going<br />
to the office the next day.<br />
Meera refuses to let him<br />
