beginning to get the impression that her brain was now going into high gear in an
attempt to get as much as she could from the opportunity that had arisen. He
prepared himself for the next demand but when it came it made him gasp.
"If you're going to be there just prior to the assembly, couldn't you arrange to
stay on after it gets underway?"
She knew that she was pushing things to the limit, but for her the stakes were
obviously high enough, for Will however, it was the ultimate risk.
"I think you've conveniently ignored how much security there will be once
those politicians start to arrive. It would be a nightmare trying to move around, let
alone do any serious work without them breathing down your neck! Margaret was
staring into space appearing to disregard Will's last remark. "You have to admit
Margaret, that this business will take quite a bit of organizing."
"Yes you're right, I've been trying to sort it out in my mind, but there are too
many factors to pull together and there hasn't been enough time yet to think it out.
Let's settle on a couple of things shall we? Could we have a go at trying to devise
a way to be there on Monday night when they've all assembled, and before you
go tonight, tell me what equipment will be necessary."
"There's one piece of equipment that you haven't got. It will be essential."
"What's that?"
"It's called a high speed dubbing machine."
"Will Adam know what that is?"
"Yes, I would need it by tomorrow night or early Friday morning at the latest."
"Can you find out where all the information is stored when you go tomorrow
morning?"
"I'll try, but they may have it under lock and key, or even in the safe. My gut
feeling though is that it will be just lying around in a drawer."
"I hope you're right. By the way you'll need somebody with you, won't you?"
"Yes."
"What about Adam?"
"No, there's no one on your team that I could feel safe with."
"What about me?" Will looked at her long and hard. She had a questioning
look on her face. "Are you going to reject me too?"
"What could you do?"
"I'm an expert photographer, I could copy all the slides, but the movie film will
