A little bit about us... 

Mutneys Professional Pet Care have been manufacturing and supplying high quality, professional grade 

grooming equipment for over 20 years! The business was started by Jamie & Stephanie Roberts, who have 

both been brought up with dog grooming and wanted to start a company that truly believes in providing 

groomers with quality products and advice. 

Today we are still supplying the best products available and we pride ourselves on our high level of customer 

service. A member of our knowledgeable and friendly team is always on hand to answer any questions that 

may come up along the way. 

We manufacture many of our products at our premises in Shropshire and work tirelessly to source high 

quality products, which are also made here in the UK, exclusively for you and your pets! All this adds up to a 

range that you can be sure will live up to the job of professional grooming.

Our Shampoos and Fragrance Sprays have been developed in working salons over the last 20 years to ensure 

that they’re the best professional products available for busy groomers and pet owners who want to pamper 

their pooch. Mutneys Shampoos and Conditioners dilute well to make them economical and are pH balanced 

to protect the natural oils found in a dog’s coat. 

Our Tables, Trolleys and Drying Cabinets can be made to order and are hand finished by our master craftsmen 

at our premises in Shropshire. As we design and make these items we can continuously improve the design 

and modify certain elements to fit in with your needs, whether it's for a grooming salon or dog show.

Meet the Mutneys Team... 

Samba 

Our resident office dog and beloved pet of Managing 

Directors - Jamie & Stephanie. Samba is a particularly 

crazy German Short-haired Pointer, who enjoys rolling 

around in mud so much, that she has now become one 

of Mutneys primary product quality assessors. Her 

other interests include; lounging in her bed, ghost 

hunting and barking at her own reflection or delivery 

men in luminous jackets.

Dexter 

The latest addition to the 

Mutneys team and another 

office resident is Dexter, the 

German Short-haired Pointer. 

Dexter is 18 months old and 

is a very bouncy and excitable 

companion to Samba. He likes 

destroying plastic bottles and 

cuddly toys in his spare time. 

He also particularly enjoys 

long walks, howling, escaping 

and attending puppy training. 

His latest trick is opening 

doors by using the handle! 

Lilly 

Lulu 

An adorably insane Border Collie, 

who belongs to our Purchasing & HR 

Manager Emma. Lulu enjoys such past 

times as landscape gardening, going for 

walks whatever the weather and 

eating anything in sight. You will 

normally find her stretched out and 

taking up all the space on the sofa! 

3 year old Springer Spaniel, Lilly, belongs to 

our Office Manager Louise. She has 

developed a reputation for stealing office 

equipment and rubbish out of the bin. She’s 

very excitable and goes rather bonkers over 

her favourite Liver treats. Lilly loves lots of 

fusses and cuddles, she’ll give you cute puppy 

eyes until she gets them! 

Jack 

This adorable 17 year 

old Pembrokeshire 

Collie boy, belongs to 

our Office Admin, 

Lauren. He’s a very 

photogenic old boy 

and is quite happy to 

sit and cuddle all day 

if he could! He is 

very sweet and 

tolerant of other dogs. His favourite past times 

include playing football, fine dining (he eats 

anything and everything) and exploring the 

countryside, especially the local farm. 

Cal 

This lovely rescue Collie belongs to 

our Van Visit Co-ordinator Janine. 

He loves people, particularly Janine 

who he is completely devoted to. 

And doesn’t like being left alone. 

He’s a huge fan of sticks, belly rubs 

and being brushed. Cal’s favourite 

past-times also include playing 

in the garden. or at the seaside and 

being cuddled for hours on end. 

Lexi 

The young rescue Collie X, who lives 

with Holly our Marketing & 

Advertising Manager. Lexi is a very 

happy, bouncy dog, who knows lots of 

tricks and thinks she’s a lap dog! Her 

most favourite things in the world are 

treats and her toys; especially ones that 

squeak! Lexi also loves to swim and 

will launch herself into any body of 

water she can find, normally swamps!

the van is in your area, to see if you would like us to visit. If you

can email vanvisit@mutneys.com to find out when the van is

Bathing is an intrinsic part of the grooming experience and the 

equipment and products used at this stage can make a big difference 

to the overall groom. In this section we have included the core tools

These hard wearing plastic baths are suitable for all breeds

We have made these metal frames to hold the baths described above. They’re made from strong box steel 

and are powder coated to protect them against rust. The legs are removable for easy storage and these 

baths are very sturdy, which makes them suitable for any groomer or pet owner. The feet are adjustable to 

accommodate for uneven flooring and can be used to increase the height of the bath, by up to 4” if required. 

As we manufacture these frames in house, we can build your bath at a custom height if required, or we can 

powder coat the steel in a colour of your choice. 

For £30.00 extra you can have your bath frame a different colour to match your Salon! 

It may add a bit of time on to the delivery date, but we think it’s worth the wait.

Blaster Dryer Maintenance Tip: 

With regular and correct maintenance, your blaster dryer can last you years. You can even help 

avoid the need for regular servicing and repairs, which costs you and your business extra money! 

First and foremost... Filters, Filters, Filters! 

Pretty much ALL blasters and dryers have filters in or on them somewhere. They absolutely need 

to be kept CLEAN and completely free from dust and hair. Dirty filters means your machine has 

to work harder to perform, which then leads to the carbon brushes being worn down quicker (cue 

the time for a service) and even deterioration on the motor (more repair bills and maybe even the 

bin)! It doesn’t take a lot of effort to add filter cleaning into your daily salon cleaning routine. All 

you need to do is take your filters out, wash them and them leave them out to air dry over night 

ready for use the following day. We also recommend that you always keep a spare set of new filters.

Using a concentrator nozzle increases air pressure and the 

different shapes can help you not just blast out, but also style.

with your contact details and a covering letter noting what you 

would like doing and how you would like them returned to you. 

Also, please note down any specific problems you have had with

We can service most clipper models from Aesculap, Oster, 

Andis and Moser, if you would like to service a pair of 

clippers not listed above, please give us a call and speak to a 

member of our team. This price includes PAT testing and 

repair charge, but excludes parts to be replaced.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances 

and equipment to ensure they are safe to use within your salon. Most electrical safety defects can be 

found by visual examination but some types of defect can only be found by testing. A bit like an 

M.O.T for your car, it is required that you complete a PAT test once a year. We can do this for you 

included as part of your service for free or with your repair at your request.
