OUR HISTORY<br />
Chase Canopy is a family business!<br />
It’s where it all began, and how we continue to<br />
grow.<br />
Brothers, Dan and Andrew Chase, were initially<br />
cabinet makers by trade. While still working at<br />
cabinet shops during the day, they built their first<br />
20 x 20 tent for a neighborhood party in a onecar<br />
garage that belonged to their grandmother.<br />
When the party was over, a friend needed a tent<br />
and rented it from them! And so it began! At<br />
that point they saw the opportunity and built a<br />
second one, a 20 x 40 tent, and began advertising<br />
it for rent. They soon discovered , however, it was<br />
impractical to create tents larger than that, so in<br />
1979 they began purchasing inventory for Chase<br />
Canopy Company.<br />
TODAY<br />
Our company maintains a well-stocked inventory that<br />
serves both residential and commercial users. no job<br />
too big or too small.<br />
We offer a complete line of rental equipment and have<br />
serviced events related to weddings and social affairs,<br />
corporate events and galas, fundraisers, collegiate<br />
events, bandshells, professional stadiums and more!<br />
In addition, we specialize in custom-event flooring,<br />
staging, and tent washing. You may be surprised to<br />
learn that many of our competitors come to us to<br />
maintain their products! We have recently built a 50 x<br />
120 foot facility with a 35’ high ceiling. This warehouse<br />
can accommodate the washing and drying of tents<br />
in all sizes. Living in a seaside community, our tent<br />
washing equipment can also help sail boat companies<br />
and owners keep their sails looking their brightest in<br />
the ocean as well.<br />
Since 1979, we have been serving Rhode Island,<br />
Connecticut, Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Nantucket,<br />
and continue to grow.<br />
