How to heal a broken arm
A fracture in the arm can take up to 8 weeks to heal for an adult but may be less
100 Word Story
Last summer my parents told me we were going to Florida in a few weeks.I was
very excited because I had never been. A week before we left we went to the mall to get
new clothes for our trip. I packed up a few days before we left. We drove up to Kansas
City from Springfield, MO to go to the airport. It took us around 2 hours to go through
gates, get our bags checked, and get some supper. When we got on the plane I was
excited because I had never been. Florida was very lit.
I was an ordinary player. Maybe out doing my teammates by a little, I loved to play the
game. The open field, the sound of the ball against my foot, the feeling of the ball hitting
the net. It is my passion but I was on an ordinary team. I went to practice and games but
never got anywhere farther until I was invited to a pro team training camp. I worked my
hardest knowing I was being watched by coaches, teammates, and scouts. At the end
of the week Sporting KC asked me to be apart of their club.

Who Knew?
In 1942 A man’s terror on local people began. He would break into victim’s
homes and take a lock of hair. He attacked a total of 4 homes in his reign. The attacker
would cut a slit in the window screens and sneak in at night. The police found 6 men
that could have been tied to the attacks and picked up scents with bloodhounds, they
only found a pair of gloves. One of the attacks was especially violent, the attacker used
a heavy metal bar this time.He attacked Mr. and Mrs. Heidelberg. He knocked out some
of Mrs. Heidelbergs teeth and left Mr. Heidelberg unconscious. The last attack, the
victim reported a “sickening” smell and feeling very ill. It was later determined that the
attacker stuck a chloroform rag over the victim’s face. For 2 months no other attacks
occurred but residents of Pascagoula lived in fear. Suddenly, police announced they
had caught the phantom barber, William Dolan, a 57 year old chemist. It was thought he
seeked revenge on Mr. Heidelberg after he sparred with his father.

Who knew
In July 1518 residents of Strasburg had a sudden urge to shake, twist, and twirl. The
first victim was a woman named Frau Troffea who stepped in the street and silently
danced for almost a week before other residents couldn’t stop themselves from dancing.
Before long there were dozens of dancers. The plague started in July and by August
there were about 400 victims. A stage was built, professional dancers were brought in,
and there was even music but before long victims would collapse from exhaustion,
strokes, and even heart attacks. The plague ended in September when dancers
affected were taken to mountaintop shrine to pray. Some theories historians have come
up with are; religious cult, they ingested ergot, a toxin that causes sudden spasms and
hallucinations, lastly some believe a Catholic saint had the power to curse people with
the plague.
A Dutch village called Giethoorn has no roads although there have been bicycle
paths built. Transport is done by traveling in the canals. The village has over 180
bridges to cross the canals. It is a very popular tourist attraction by Chinese people with
150,000 to 200,000 visitors per year. The village is so quiet the loudest sound you will
hear is the quack of a duck. Motorboats in Giethoorn run on electric motors to be more
quiet. The village was named after the first inhabitants found hundreds of goat horns
although there are none left today.

Review of ‘The Flash’ (Netflix show)
My review is on The Flash a netflix series. The main actors are Grant Gustin
(The flash/Barry Allen), Carlos Valdes (Reverb/Cisco Ramon), Danielle Panabaker
(Killer Frost/Caitlin Snow), Tom Cavanagh (Reverse Flash/Eobard Thawne/Dr. Wells),
Candice Patton (Iris West), and Jesse L. Martin (Detective Joe West). I really enjoyed
watching this show because it had a lot of action and surprises. I enjoyed watching the
use of Barry’s newfound powers. I liked how the show had a problem and a good
solution that made the viewer want to watch. I enjoyed how throughout the show Barry
learns more about the speedforce and how he can use his powers other than running
down a street. I also enjoyed how a lot of people had powers that were interesting to
watch. I would change how mostly all of the people who got powers used them for bad
and maybe some were heroes that form a team with the flash. I would rate this 10/10
and would recommend it to anyone.

I Survived Story
In 2015 a plane crash landed in the colombian jungle killing the pilot but leaving
an 18 year old mother named Marinello Murillo with her 8 month old son. She fled from
the site of the crash in fear of an explosion. She built a small roof to keep her and her
son dry from the rain. She also found some coconut water which she drank to keep her
conscious as well as her son. Luckily, while wandering she ran into a tribe which
assisted her in surviving. Colombian Air Force spent days searching but when they had
given up they used loudspeakers to inform Marinello to return to the site of the crash.
Later Marinello was found near the site with burns and minor wounds while her baby
remained unharmed. It was not disclosed to what degree the tribe helped Marinello and
her son.
