Greetings from the new
General Manager!
I started working for CHRPD on January 17, 2017. I received
my Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly State University in Recreation
Administration.
For the past 34 years I have worked for two Recreation and
Parks District. First, I started my career at Westside Recreation and
Park District in Taft, CA where I was a Supervisor for 12 ½ years.
In my last position I was a Recreation Director for North of the
River Recreation and Park District where I served the community of
Bakersfield for 21 years.
My husband Jerry and I, along with our little dog Trixie
decided we would like a slower pace of life and wanted a sense of
community which attracted us to this district. After 3 months we have
finally settled in and have already embraced Coalinga and Huron with
open arms.
With the passing of the Measure N Bond, I am hopeful and
enthusiatic about all the exciting renovations that will take place in
these two communities.
Best Regards,
Lisa Gonzalez
