The TO-25490 Loktracer Hydrogen Leak Detector from Highgate is a revolutionary 

new method of leak detection. This new system incorporates a readily available trace 

gas of 5% hydrogen for pinpointing leaks which would normally be difficult to 

find using traditional methods of leak detection. 

Generally the best hand held leak detectors today only sense leaks of about 

1/10th of an oz/yr loss, this new system has an accuracy of approximately 1/100th 

of an oz/yr leak rate. One of the greatest advantages of this new method is the leak 

detector reacts solely to Hydrogen and is not triggered by other gases in the shop so 

nuisance alarms are almost non-existent. 

The Trace gas kit is easy to use and portable enough for any job; simply pressurize the empty AC system with 

trace gas and perform leak detection with the TLD500 as normal, when the job is finished the system may be 

safely vented to atmosphere and vacuum / charge as usual. 

The unit comes as a stand alone leak detector or packaged with RF-10330 cylinder, gas regulator, TO-66340 

manifold and hoses ready for automotive use. 

With Loktracer, every leak leaves a trace now.

• The Electronic Control Valve Tester will provide a direct 

power supply to the electronic control valve on all 

clutchless, direct drive and externally controlled A/C 

compressors without having to connect to the vehicles
