<strong>MKE</strong> Sports & Entertainment, a sports and entertainment company, headquartered in<br />

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is excited to announce that Jamestown Jammers Baseball will<br />

return to Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park in May of 2015.<br />

“Jamestown is a city with a rich baseball tradition that is filled with folks who just love<br />

the game and are passionate about their team,” said City of Jamestown Mayor Sam<br />

Teresi. “Iʼm really looking forward to our new partnership with <strong>MKE</strong> Sports &<br />

Entertainment and canʼt wait for opening day in May!”<br />

“Itʼs very exciting and very important to the community that the Jammers will stay in<br />

Jamestown,” said Russell E. Diethrick. “I look forward to outstanding, fun baseball and a<br />

thrilling atmosphere at the stadium, in what will be a destination point for many people<br />

not only locally but to travelers visiting town.”<br />

"This is another big day for the City of Jamestown,” said Zimmerman. “The new brand is<br />

strong and will certainly be a big success for merchandise sales. I am truly humbled and<br />

grateful that the city has chosen my group to represent the great city of Jamestown.”<br />

A brief history…<br />

In August of 2014, the New York-Penn League, Pittsburgh Pirates and Rich Products<br />

Corporation announced that the Jamestown Jammers would be relocating to<br />

Morgantown, West Virginia, for the 2015 season.<br />

In September of 2014, the Jamestown Jammers wrap up their Minor League Baseball<br />

(MiLB) season.<br />

In October of 2014, Kevin Rhomberg, former RS Entertainment Owner, announced a<br />

Prospect League (collegiate wood bat) baseball team would play at Russell E. Diethrick<br />

Jr. Park starting in May.<br />

In December of 2014, <strong>MKE</strong> Sports & Entertainment Owner Mike Zimmerman partnered<br />

with Kevin Rhomberg to form Jamestown Baseball, LLC. Shortly thereafter, Jamestown<br />

Baseball, LLC and Minor League Baseball (MiLB) struck a deal for continued use of the<br />

Jamestown Jammers name, which is owned by MiLB. The old Jamestown Jammers<br />

logo is property of MiLB and will not be used in this reincarnation of the Jamestown<br />

Jammers, though a new logo has been created by <strong>MKE</strong> Sports & Entertainment.<br />

January 16 th , 2015.<br />

New Look, New Logo, New Attitude!<br />

<strong>MKE</strong> Sports & Entertainment unveiled the new Jamestown Jammers logo and uniforms<br />

along with announcing the 2015 schedule. The Jamestown Jammers will open up their<br />

inaugural Prospect League season at Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park, Wednesday, May<br />

27 th against the Butler BlueSox.<br />

The 2015 Jammers schedule features a number of weekend games for Jamestownarea<br />

baseball fans to enjoy, including five Friday home games, five Saturday home<br />

games and five Sunday home games.<br />

The Jammers will be on the road every week of the Prospect League season with the<br />

longest road trip being five games between Tuesday, May 9 th and Sunday, May 14 th .<br />

Jamestown will wrap up the regular season on the road against the Champion City<br />

Kings, Thursday, August 6 th .<br />

Season tickets can be reserved on a first come, first served basis by submitting a $100<br />
