Trevor Green
From California, Trevor Green is a spirited musician
that describes his music as healing. “It has taken me
into far deeper spaces of my being that I don’t think
I would have access to otherwise. The information
comes through and the music helps me to process
myself moving forward.”
“My music is prayer and ceremony.” Trevor told us
of a place called The Bolsa Chica Wetlands which is
a preserve in Huntington Beach, California where he
spends a lot of his time writing and meditating. “I was
calling in native energies and they started showing up.
It was the wisdom I was asking for. So the native
culture really infused itself in the music.”
Voice of the Wind (which was originally going to be
named The Red Road) is Trevor’s 5th studio album.
It captures the journey of his inspirations with telling
songs like “Rainbow Medicine” and “Let it Go”. To

Victor and Penny
Victor & Penny is made up by Jeff Freling and Erin McGrane.
Together they deliver a modern twist on the prohibition era
style jazz, hot jazz and gypsy jazz. Jeff plays electric guitar and
Erin plays ukulele. Before deciding on something to call
themselves, they were playing a lot of the prohibition era of
jazz and looking for a title that was more invocative of that
era. Through mutual friends from a play they were both
involved in, they were given ideas for their band’s name. One
was Victor California, but it didn’t seem to fit. Another was
Penny Arcadia. Combining the two first names gave them the
feel of old time jazz and it stuck.
Electricity is their latest album. It was recorded in Nashville
and was released in March 2016. It has been debuted on the
Folk Radio DJ charts and provides a rainbow of emotions.
