GCOS and GTYPE<br />

The following is an overview of the steps necessary to analyze data using<br />

GTYPE 4.0 or higher. GCOS 1.4 or higher must be installed on the<br />

same workstation in order to use GTYPE. Detailed instructions may be<br />

found in the GeneChip ® Genotyping Analysis Software User’s Guide.<br />

Batch Analysis:<br />

1. Open the Batch Analysis window. Then, select the appropriate .cel<br />

files and drag the files into the Batch Analysis window.<br />

If no files can be seen in the file tree, check to see if any filters are<br />

applied, this is shown by the “Filter Applied” message in the<br />

bottom right of the window (Figure 7.2). The filter settings can be<br />

adjusted by selecting the filter options in the Tools menu bar.
