6. Spin down the plate at 2000 rpm for 30 sec and place back in the<br />

cooling chamber.<br />

Because the DNA concentration in each sample is different, the<br />

volume transferred to each well will differ. For optimal<br />

performance, it is critical that the contents of each well be<br />

normalized to 2 µg of DNA/µL before proceeding to the next step.<br />

Do one of the following:<br />

• Proceed immediately to the next step.<br />

• If not proceeding immediately to the next step:<br />

A. Seal the plate with the eluted samples.<br />

B. Store the plate at –20 °C.
