Principal’s Post...
A film crew from WTTW will be here Friday, April 7th filming Mrs. Eggert “on the job” for the upcoming
Golden Apple Award Ceremony, which will be hosted by Golden Apple on Saturday, May 20th at the
WTTW Channel 11 Studios in Chicago. We are all excited about this recognition and look forward to
Friday’s visit. More information and a link to the “Live Streaming” of the reception and awards
ceremony will be forthcoming.
Several Bloomingdale Police Officers including, Officer Odoi and Officer McCoy (pictured below) stopped by for lunch and
to visit with the students on Tuesday. Our goal is to have our local heroes and first responders visit as often as possible and
become comfortable walking the building and talking with our students. It is also our goal to have the students feel
comfortable talking with the officers on a regular basis. Thanks to the Bloomingdale Police Department for supporting this
school outreach project!
The students performed so well at the recent talent show, “2017 DJ World Series!” . Thanks to Mrs. Lents and Miss. Dahm
for sponsoring this great program and thanks to all the students who showed off their great talents. Check out the short
video and the attached picture collages.
Please see the attached flyer entitled “Protecting Your Investment and Your Children.” This is a community forum focused
on building and grounds for Bloomingdale School District 13.
Please note that we do not have a School Improvement Day 1:40 Dismissal this month.
