DESIGNSTATEMENT
Everyone and everything has a voice, and the right to have that voice heard.
People, art, trees, animals, buildings, subway cars: all of them speak, if you are only
willing to listen. When I design, I do so in the hopes of giving each project
a coherent and beautiful voice.
I like to keep things interesting. I experiment with the juxtaposition of opposites:
organic shapes and geometric lines, natural and industrial figures, light and dark.
Sometimes these factors can clash, but when used and balanced correctly,
they can create such a unique harmony.
Harmony and balance are important factors in all aspects of life. It is impossible
to have the good without the bad, and vice versa. It is important to take both
in stride and remember that every problem has a solution,
even when it may not be an obvious one.
I feel that my work and my voice are accurate representations of this.
