schools. The owner believes this is a serious issue in the tattoo<br />
industry and many issues could occur including: being uninsured,<br />
the needles, blood-borne pathogens, not trained, claims<br />
that microblading is not permanent, lack of artistic ability, unlicensed<br />
facilities and reuse of needles.<br />
“Microblading is permanent makeup and the procedure<br />
should be performed in a state licensed facility with health<br />
department licenses clearly in view. You only have one face;<br />
choose wisely and be informed by doing your homework. Make<br />
sure to look at healed work of your artists; some artists steal<br />
photos and claim it as their own work. Be sure to look for photo<br />
consistency and style,” said Rhonda.<br />
The owner finds an inner reward in helping others look fabulous<br />
through the art of permanent makeup.<br />
“I have many cases where a client is losing their vision or<br />
their hands shake due to health conditions and my permanent<br />
makeup gives them the self confidence to look fabulous again,”<br />
said Rhonda, adding, “I also pride myself in mentoring hundreds<br />
of technicians around the world. I own an organization<br />
called ‘Techs Helping Techs’, a group of trained technicians. It’s<br />
all about encouraging my colleagues and empowering women.<br />
Over the last few years, we have had hundreds of artists from<br />
all over the world come to Delray Beach for advanced training.”<br />
The Delray Beach business owner is proud of her 20-year<br />
milestone in the permanent makeup business and is excited to<br />
expand with her new location.<br />
“We are proud to now celebrate 20 years of experience and to<br />
have performed over 17,000 procedures. Our office is an additional<br />
training facility with state-of-the-art equipment,” said Rhonda.<br />
