The Team USA trio of James Blake, Mardy-
Tour event for the second consecutive
year. In ATP World Tour singles competition,
American Jack Sock claimed his second title
without losing a single set, leaving Delray
Beach unblemished as top-seeded opponent,
Milos Raonic withdrew from the tournament
due to a slight right hamstring tear. Following
the tournament, Sock moved to a new
career-high ranking of No. 18 in the world,
entrenching the feisty Yank as the top American
on the ATP Tour. In Doubles, No. 2 seeds
Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram defeated
Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi 7-5, 7-5, to claim
tandem title. Klaasen won his first Delray
Beach title and Ram won his second (2011).
The duo recorded their fourth title together
since forming the team in 2015.
The popular and charismatic Delray Beach
Open VolleyGirls, the only dance team representing
an ATP event, were back this year igniting
the crowds, promoting the tournament
in community events and lending a hand
to the many on-site social and community
events that took place throughout the Open.
