Vice President for Student Affairs As a result of the
application of the recommendations of the organizational
consulting report drafted by IDC Herzliya, and as a realization
of one of the most important goals of IDC Herzliya, fine tuning
the complete package of services provided to IDC Herzliya
students, Dr. Ayelet Ben Ezer has been appointed Vice President
for Student Affairs. Her task is to centralize the activities of all
departments which provide services to students, with a
comprehensive view of the cycle of student life, starting from
registration, going through academic and social life on campus
and through graduation and employment placement opportunities.
The Dean for Student Affairs The Dean for Student Affairs
is responsible, in cooperation with the IDC Herzliya management,
for the variety of services provided on campus. The Dean deals
with a variety of general and personal problems which students
may encounter, and strives to find optimal solutions. The Dean
for Student Affairs is responsible for granting socio-economic
scholarships, taking care of students with learning disabilities
and other special needs groups such as new immigrants,
disabled students and others. The Dean for Student Affairs also
handles the submission of requests to army officials
(shortening/postponement of reserve duty) and the follow up
thereof, is in charge of the psychological services on campus,
and of the center for the enhancement of learning skills. He
also handles personal problems of students (excluding academic
problems), serving as "ombudsman" for students who wish to
express any complaint about any issue relating to IDC Herzliya.
Psychological Support Services This service is designed
to monitor students' wellbeing whether in matters relating to
their studies or concerning personal psychological issues. Within
the framework of those services, students will be able to get
professional advice regarding their personal concerns, fears
and stressful academic issues. The service provides personal
one-on-one consultations and is free of charge. To schedule

Career Development Center (CDC) the Center for Professional
Orientation was established with the purpose of assisting IDC
Herzliya students and alumni with all issues relating to finding
employment in the areas which are taught at the Center, during
the course of the studies and afterwards. Services include
information and guidance, orientation and advice, lectures
and workshops as well as meetings with representatives of
