The Center for European Studies The<br />
Center for European Studies coordinates<br />
European Studies and organizes events and<br />
public debates on topics such as the European<br />
Union, its relations with Israel and with the<br />
Middle East. The Center for European<br />
Studies hosted senior European political<br />
figures, such as for example the Chancellor<br />
of Austria. The German Minister of Foreign<br />
Affairs is scheduled to be a guest at <strong>IDC</strong><br />
<strong>Herzliya</strong>.<br />
The Center for European Studies plans to<br />
offers its students, at <strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong>, a study<br />
year specializing in the European Union,<br />
with an emphasis on topics such as economics<br />
and business, as well as the opportunity<br />
to study those same subjects in English for<br />
an additional year at a European university.<br />
At the end of those two years, the students<br />
will be awarded two degrees - one from<br />
<strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong>, and one from the university<br />
in Europe. At a later stage, a full program<br />
in the subject area of Europe shall be offered<br />
in the framework of an M.A. degree.
