Authentication/e-KYC Ecosystem CSC SPV has signed an e-KYC/Authentication agreement with various Central/State government-level departments, banks and other private companies. In this regard, almost nine (9) crore transactions have been recorded till May 30, 2016. Major transactions have been recorded with e-KYC mode. Almost 14 state governments have come on-board for these facilities, namely Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Daman & Diu. Apart from the state governments, so far 28 institutions have tied up with CSC SPV to enable authentication and E-KYC services for citizens. 20 CSC e-Governance Services India Limited
Application of e-KYC/ Authentication Disbursing Entitlements Leveraging Aadhaar as e-PDS: Aadhaar Enabled Solution Implemented: The primary challenge faced within the current set of PDS operations is the misreporting of sales. To make operations at the Fair Price Shops more transparent and more difficult to misreport, it is recommended that a PoS device be utilized for FPS transactions with Internet- enabled biometric authentication (Aadhaar-based). Aadhaar Authentication Components: It describes components of the Aadhaar Authentication system and the flow of authentication request and response. The high level components are: 1. Authentication at the front end: Authentication front end largely consists of the service provider at the point of service, such as a fair price shop using an Aadhaar compliant authentication device to authenticate ration card holders who come to purchase subsidized grains.
