The elegant world of beauty has a new player in<br />
the game of making the world look great. Salon<br />
Parlour was heralded with an array of some of<br />
the finest catering to ever grace a party. The<br />
sun that blazed in sparkled off the large mirrors<br />
and brought out the rich lustre of the wood<br />
panelling, created a warm ambience which<br />
perfectly complimented the models displaying<br />
the latest styles of the house. As well as the<br />
promise of a perfect pampering, a venue to<br />

A wonderful world of art was presented to the<br />
people of Christchurch when SCAPE Public<br />
Art kicked off in time to liven up the cool and<br />
damp spring. Christ’s College provided the<br />
venue for the launching ceremony, which took<br />
place on a clement October evening. Guests<br />
enjoyed a pleasant stroll through the school<br />
grounds before meeting old friends and new.<br />
Art for all to enjoy was then proclaimed and<br />
celebrated with a genteel party, as befits an<br />
uplifting undertaking. The city had now become<br />
a living gallery, existing in the open world and<br />
available to everyone. So enriching.<br />
