Kmart is helping us give to others in need this Christmas with<br />
the annual Wishing Tree Appeal. Kmart will be collecting gifts,<br />
The Salvation Army will distribute them and, together, they<br />
will make a difference to 17,000 families in need. Gifts will be<br />
accepted from November 14th up until Christmas Eve.<br />
Re: START Mall is getting into the festive sprit with family<br />
entertainment, late-night shopping and Christmas movie nights.<br />
On Thursday and Friday nights in the two weeks leading up to<br />
Christmas, the mall will stay open to 9pm. There will also be<br />
screenings of the classic Christmas movies Fred Claus, Arthur<br />
Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Elf, and the new<br />
Kiwiplay children’s playground in the Play:ZONE to try. Movies<br />
start at 6.30pm and filmgoers are advised to bring their own<br />
cushions.<br />
Starship Children’s Hospital has turned 25 and would like<br />
to acknowledge everyone who has helped them reach this<br />
wonderful milestone. Here’s to another 25 years of delivering<br />
outstanding care to young patients.<br />
