Aqua Cardio<br />

45 minutes. A medium to high impact workout that will get you moving!<br />

This cardiovascular workout will improve endurance and increase muscle<br />

tone. Some equipment used for added water resistance.<br />

Aqua Deep (Cardio)<br />

45 minutes. Break a sweat in the water in this intense cardio workout. All<br />

moves executed with no impact. Core and cardio exercises will build strength<br />

and improve your fitness level. Flotation belts are used for proper body<br />

alignment.<br />

Aqua Shallow (Formerly S.M.I.L.E.)<br />

45 minutes. Focuses on all aspects of movement. Low to medium impact.<br />

Can be modified to fit all needs. Equipment may be used.<br />

Aqua Strength & Stride (Strength & resistance training)<br />

45 minutes. Maximize your strength while toning, lengthening, and defining<br />

muscles. Using the natural resistance of the water as well as aquatic weights<br />

and exercise equipment, you’ll learn how to safely and effectively intensify<br />

your aquatic workouts. While all muscle areas are used, focus is on the legs,<br />

lower back and core in these medium impact workouts.<br />

Hydro Flex (Strength & resistance training)<br />

30 minutes (Hydro Flex MAX 45 minutes). Improve and maintain joint flexibility,<br />

range of motion and muscle strength in this low impact class. Highly<br />

recommended for people with Arthritis, Osteoporosis and other joint related<br />

conditions. Arthritis Foundation guidelines incorporated.<br />

Liquid Movement<br />

45 minutes. Relax and find your “center” in this workout performed in the therapy<br />

pool. This low-impact class focuses on improving balance and range of motion through<br />

stretches and functional movements.<br />

Water in Motion/Cardio<br />

60 minutes. Low impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages, skill, and<br />

fitness levels. Jump in and make a splash with this dynamic cardiovascular workout<br />

that tones and tapers the entire body.<br />

Ongoing program · Start any time!<br />

Join over 100 UAC members who have swam or<br />

“water walked” more than 3000 total miles!<br />

Log the # of miles you swim/walk in the UAC pool<br />

on our wall chart. Upon completion of 50 miles,<br />

you receive a free UAC t-shirt.<br />

(a mile = 72 lengths or 36 laps of the pool).<br />

Club Hours: Mon–Fri 5am–10pm; Sat 7am–7pm; Sun 7am–9pm; Individual department hours may differ.<br />
