A wilting rose,<br />
Reveals no pain,<br />
For only time knows,<br />
The soul’s desire is in vain.<br />
A weathered heart is the only sign,<br />
That drives me to anguish,<br />
Never to be lessened by the passage of time,<br />

A fading dusty hue of a mellowed love,<br />
