October is another busy month! Thanksgiving is just a few days away and charities are looking for support. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and you will see pink ribbons for sale everywhere in the region. Do you love going to “local” craft fairs and bazaars? Everything is handmade with love and care. It is more about giving back to the community we live in and an opportunity for them to showcase their crafts. Check the What’s On section, there are lots of sales to choose from. Make a day or weekend out of it and visit them all. A great way to start your shopping early. Don’t rush this season away... visit a local farm for the perfect pumpkin or get lost in a corn maze. Take up horseback riding as a new form of exercise, it’s never too late to try something new. It was 6 years ago that I started riding and have loved every minute of it. And yes dear! you do break a sweat when riding horses. What ever you do this fall season enjoy the colours, warm fall days and blue sky!
