Developing new friction materials The excellent brake performance is the result of our continuous and persistent product development. At SBS’ R&D department a team of engineers and technicians specialised in friction technology are committed to the development of new friction materials that meet even the most demanding requirements for performance, safety and durability. Testing New friction materials are tested under different conditions before market introduction. 94.4 944 41.9 Dyno testing Full racetrack and street bike simulation tests on SBS dynamometer. The simulations are based on data-loggins transferred from road and race tests. Road testing Road tests are made on test vehicles equipped with computerised data-logging and wet water testing equipment. Race team testing Race tests are made by world championship winning teams on the best performing bikes ridden by world-class riders to keep SBS at the cutting edge of motorcycle brake pad technology.
