The present invention relates to isolated liver progenitor stem cells, <strong>and</strong> cell population there<strong>of</strong>, wherein said progenitor stem cells<br />

originate <strong>from</strong> adult liver, esp. <strong>of</strong> human. The present invention also relates to the use <strong>of</strong> said isolated progenitor stem cells in<br />
