From pasture to plate, thru’ the farm gate...<br />

Carron Lodge, established in 1988, is a family run<br />

company owned by Adrian & Annette Rhodes. We are<br />

traditionally farmhouse cheese makers and over the<br />

years have developed our own range of cheese in<br />

addition to sourcing quality dairy produce from around<br />

the British Isles and on the continent. We have become<br />

one of the countries premier cheese wholesalers and<br />

distributors.<br />

Our main depot, dairy and farm is in Inglewhite, near<br />

Preston, Lancashire. We also have two other depots,<br />

Lincoln and Gloucester - with these three sites we are<br />

able to regularly collect from many of the smaller<br />

artisan producers around the UK.<br />

Our SALSA accredited manufacturing dairy produces<br />

over 30 varieties of cheese including territorials such<br />

as our award winning Crumbly Lancashire and our<br />

‘Cave Range’ of blue cheese including Lancashire Blue,<br />

winner of the UK’s Best Blue Cheese* at the<br />

International Cheese Awards. All the cow and buffalo<br />

milk we use in our cheese is produced on our farm on<br />

the edges of the Forest of Bowland AONB.<br />
